All Sweet Perfection wedding cakes are made from scratch.

We use only the freshest, premium ingredients, including free-range eggs, NSW farm-fresh milk,  high grade cake flour, rich Dutch cocoa and our homemade Grade A Madagascan vanilla extract.

Absolutely NO processed, packaged cake or frosting/filling mixtures are used in any of our products.

We use only Bakels Pettinice and Orchard ready to roll fondants for consistency of results - of critical importance for that flawless finish on your wedding cake.

We believe that your cake should taste as good as it looks. This is an important consideration when planning your wedding menu, as you can confidently serve your wedding cake as your dessert course.


Traditional fruit cake 

A very old and much loved moist fruit cake family recipe. Covered in white or dark chocolate ganache under fondant.


Mud Cake Flavours

Ideal for stacked and tiered wedding cakes, these are torted and filled with our delicious meringue buttercream/ganache blends, giving you not only a better tasting cake experience, but also an appealing elegant taller tier.

All our wedding mud cakes are covered in a complementing ganache to flavour of cake, before the application of rolled fondant (eg. your traditional white or ivory icing), or buttercream.

These styles of cakes are also suitable for tiered wedding cakes, and can also be torted and filled with complementing buttercreams or whipped ganaches.

Special Dietary Considerations

Unfortunately, due to the increasing severity of food intolerances in the community with regard to cross-contamination of allergens such as gluten, nut, soy, dairy, eggs, chocolate and so on, we are no longer providing any special dietary cakes.

As our kitchen creates cakes containing all these ingredients, there is just no safe way of creating an allergen-free range for our customers with special dietary needs.

If you have an allergy to gluten, or any other ingredient commonly used in cakes, please consider a specialist bakery. 


Fillings and Icings/Frostings

In general, the 'heavier' the cake, the denser the fillings and icing can be.

Ganache - flavoured to suit type of cake. Includes white, dark and milk chocolate, caramel, strawberry, choc-mint, jaffa, choc-coconut, choc-hazelnut, raspberry, and more. 

Whipped Ganache filling - our special filling recipe (standard with all mudcakes) uses real chocolate, fresh cream, and flavourings. Creamy, delicious and smooth, this is the perfect filling especially if serving your cake as dessert.

Italian Meringue Buttercream - made from cooked free-range egg whites, cane sugar and pure butter, and natural flavourings. A silky smooth, less sweet alternative to regular buttercream. Not suitable for outdoor events/warm-hot conditions.

Buttercream - pure Australian butter and cane sugar. Flavours include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, orange, raspberry, coconut, lemon, lime, butterscotch, caramel, coffee, almond, hazelnut, peppermint, spearmint, choc-mint.

Strawberry, lemon or raspberry spread  - may be used in combination with a creamy filling for a tangy element.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not, and cannot, offer fresh whipped cream or any other filling/covering that requires constant refrigeration. This includes creme patissiere (custard filling), cheesecake, cream cheese and mousse. We suggest you seek a commercial shopfront bakery for your refrigerated bakery items.
